Brighton University Medical Visit
Year 9 students had the opportunity of spending the day within the Medical Scientific Department of Brighton University.
This followed an assembly hosted by them to motivate and inspire young people into the world of medical science and pharmaceuticals. Students carouselled around a variety of group tasks, from working on a Sim bot to take manual blood pressure readings, to making an aqueous cream, to problem solving; comparing fake patient details to prescribed drugs to source errors. Our students were very engaged with the whole event and were a credit to our school. Well done Year 9!'
