Barclays Life Skills
Year 10 students across Maths and Business Studies recently had the opportunity of working with Barclays Life Skills to learn more about maths functions in everyday life from ratios to fractions in all areas from hospitality to gyms to construction. Students worked well in groups with some learning about the variety of scams and frauds that banks currently tackle.
Students learnt about 'Quishing', 'Phishing' and 'Vishing' amongst other types of scam and fraud. The Workshops gave students a greater understanding on how to be financially aware and safer online. Well done Year 10!
