History Trip to Arundel
A few weeks ago, our amazing bunch of history students got to visit the wonderful Arundel Castle.
They visited on a glorious warm and sunny day. They ventured around the beautiful castle studying the history of the battlements and keep, then explored the gardens and grounds which was also hosting their annual Tulip festival.
The trip also doubled up with Art, and these students had time to sit in the sun and draw some of the lovely flowers and landscape around them.
In the afternoon, they studied the beautiful chapel and toured the internal castle rooms, which included chambers set up for the late queen.
This was a great day for all which enriched their History and Art lessons upon return to school.
